In Chronological Order
In his book, Enjoying the Whole Bible with a Chapter-by-Chapter Guide, Gerard Chrispin wrote:
“Generally speaking, the events recorded in the Bible are related to each other in a progressive time span, but there are many exceptions, sometimes to emphasize a point made, or because the chronology is not an important issue. Thus the biblical order is not always the chronological order and the Bible may ‘replay’ a past event or ‘fast track’ to a future one. These instances do not, however, constitute contradictions.”

Although the incarnation of Jesus was a one-time series of unique events, those events are recorded in various places of the Bible as described by Gerard Chrispin. The true story of the incarnation of Jesus Christ in one Chronological record is provided in two formats:
- Outline with Bible References (for reading from your own Bible).
- Outline with Bible text.
Use either format for an individual or family devotional. Read, consider and discuss what God did for you through these events.
